My Creative Scrapbook May 2024 Creative Kit

This time I'm playing with the creative kit! This time the papers are from Bella Blvd. "Just Because" collection. You'll also find a sticker sheet, die cuts, a stamp set and a free downloadable digi die for your electronic cutter.

I love the pretty colors in this collection including one of my favorites.. purple.. that I think is so under used. You'll find pretty prints in woodgrain, stripes, gingham, floral, clouds and more.

I love the sweet spring images.. birds, florals, and this cutie bunny on it's bicycle. There's even a few hedge hogs. The images are great for making scene cards that are sure to bring smiles.

I cut "waves" in pattern paper to create wavy hills for scenes. Dots and other prints make great backgrounds. I cut a few yellow "suns" using a circle paper punch with yellow cardstock.

I like to arrange images on clear plastic the size of my card base to help me decide what to put where before I commit and adhere images in place.

The sticker sheet has lots of great images. I apply powder (baby powder or cornstarch - whatever you have handy) to the sticky backs to make them manageable until I'm ready to adhere them with liquid adhesive.

This kit comes with everything you see. The only items I have added are the card bases and envelopes, solid paper card mats, adhesives and enamel dots from my stash.

My card features the new American Eagle stamp set. Of course there is a coordinating die set that makes cutting the images a snap!

I arranged the cute little eagles on a panel stacked with the Zig Zag Rectangle, Stitched Rectangle, and Shaker Tags. The sentiment is stamped on a 1/2" Sentiment Strip.

The eagles are colored with Copic Markers and little stars from the tag set are scattered about. There are two shades of the new twine on this card.. red "Stop Sign" and blue "Sunny Sky" this is a thicker twine. I knotted the ends and then unraveled the strands to create a tassel.

WISH

You know I love color! So when I saw this challenge at Time Out Challenge I couldn't resist joining in!

This time it's called the Alphabet Magnet Day Challenge with a colorful inspiration photo - just look at that photo with the rainbow magnet letters! YUM! Count me in!!!

I'm going a little clean and simple on this one. My card starts with a background of rainbow Stitched Stripes that I topped with WISH birthday letters from Pretty Pink Posh. I love all the cute iconic birthday images inside the letters!

A simple sentiment is stamped directly on the card base under the sentiment.

The finishing touch is a few flat back pearls that coordinate with the stripe colors. Don't you just love that jaunty little hat on the S?
