I hope you're having a great day!   I know lots of us thinking about all the things we need to do to get ready for Easter Sunday.  I ran to the grocery store and Wow!  was it packed!  I'm moving a little slower because I had another dental surgery.  Something unexpected...  don't ask.. it will just make both of us sad! LOL! 

I confess, my most favorite stamps to work with are FLOWERS!  They remind me of time spent in my garden - and I love to be surrounded with the beautiful colors all year round.  These beautiful Layered Lily(s) are from Altenew!   They're actually a FIVE Layer stamp set from base color to stamens!   

All those beautiful layers just make these flowers come alive!  They look beautiful in ANY color you stamp them in, and using Altenew inks takes the guess work out of how to get so many colors to work well together.  I used the colors in the Summer Afternoon and Cosmos cube packs.  The stamens were added with Espresso

It's funny how just a flower can make me think of special people or times in my life.  Every Easter I buy my Mom a lily.  She's now made it clear that she prefers the pink Stargazer Lily to the traditional white lilies I've been offering. 

They also make me think of my crafty friend Sharron who grows lilies and was kind enough to share a few with me for my own garden.   Every year when they bloom I will think of her! 

While your stamping these pretty flowers I recommend you use your stamping tool if you have one.  This will allow you to make a bunch at one time - when you go to make something later and reach for the set you'll be glad you did!   The background stamping I added to break up all that white in the background.  I used stamps from Botanical Garden.
